    Passage on Pradhan Mantri Adarsh Gram Yojana (PMAGY) (for next 3 Qs) On the eve of World Environment Day, around 200 local people, including youths, men and women, on Sunday planted saplings on the banks of a pond in the village of Nagepur here.     The implementation of the Scheme was started in 2009-10 as a pilot phase and total of 1000 villages from Tamil Nadu (225), Rajasthan (225), Bihar (225), Himachal Pradesh (225) and Assam (100) were selected under this phase. All these 1000 villages have so far been declared as, Adarsh Gram‟ by the respective State Governments.
