Question

As an object falls, it increases in speed which causes the air resistance force to also increase. At some time, the air resistance will be almost as large as the gravitational force and the total force on the object will be close to zero Newtons. ________________. Why is it important? Well, if the final speed is very small compared to the terminal velocity you can mostly ignore the air resistance force and skip the Euler method all together.

Directions (140 - 143): In the following question a short passage is given with one of the lines in the passage missing and represented by a blank. Select the best out of the five answer choices given, to make the passage complete and coherent.
A With zero net force, you have zero acceleration and the object just moves down at a constant speed—we call this terminal velocity.
B What if I want to model the motion of the arrow going both up and down?
C It’s just something else you can play with.
D Now for something a little different.
E They also found that this arrow speed would be potentially lethal.
