    B and C are correct in the given sentence. ‘rushing up’ is correct in B. ‘between’ is correct in C because ‘oceans’ and ‘the land’ are compared. A is incorrect because the preposition ‘by’ is incorrect. The correct preposition is ‘as’. When the atmosphere and the ocean is considered en a whole, rain everywhere is the result of moisture rushing up to fill differences in temperature between oceans and the land.
