T he Solar Charkha Mission is a scheme by the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) of the Government of India to set up solar charkha clusters in rural areas , to ensure inclusive growth by generation of employment, especially for women and youth, and sustainable development.   The Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) is implementing the scheme .
