    Bagor is a Mesolithic site located in Rajasthan. It is the largest Mesolithic site in India. One of the earliest evidence of the domestication of animals and fire is found here. The Rock Shelters of Bhimbetka are located in the foothills of the Vindhyan Mountains in central India (in Madhya Pradesh). Bhimbeteka is a site that spans the prehistoric Paleolithic and Mesolithic periods. It is known for its cave paintings. Renigunta located in Andhra Pradesh is a stone age site mostly of Upper Paleolithic age. Blade and burin industry is found here. Gudiyam caves are rock shelters in the state of Tamil Nadu belonging mostly to the Paleolithic age.
