It is among the earliest Chalcolithic cultures of India. Ahar culture, kayatha culture and Malwa culture are associated with Chalcolithic culture. •The Kayatha culture: Located in Chambal and its tributaries. •The Malwa culture is the most predominant chalcolithic culture of central India, with a wide distribution of sites almost all over the Malwa region. •The Ahar culture is among the earliest Chalcolithic cultures of India. The culture has been named after the type site Ahar, in District Udaipur, Rajasthan.
