The Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) operationalised the National e-Vidhan Application (NeVA) programme for conducting a session in paperless mode. NeVA is a device neutral and member centric application created to equip legislative members to handle diverse house business smartly by putting entire information regarding member contact details, rules of procedure, list of business, notices, bulletins, bills, starred or unstarred questions and answers, papers laid, committee reports etc. in their hand held devices or tablets and equip all legislatures/ departments to handle it efficiently. The application will completely eliminate the process of sending out a notice or request for collection of data. The software has provision to provide access to these documents bilingually viz.
