    According to the data released by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry,the wholesale price index (WPI)-based inflation rate fell to a 25-month low of 3.85 percent in February.WPI stood at 4.73 per cent in January 2023     The inflation for manufactured items eased to 1.94 per cent in February & softening price pressure in sectors like manufactured food products, leather, wood, paper, chemicals and cement among others.
