        In its latest World Economic Outlook report, the IMF forecast global real GDP growth at 2.8 per cent for 2023 and 3 per cent for 2024. The report also  lowered India's growth projection to 5.9 per cent.     The IMF's bi-annual report observed that India's headline retail inflation is expected to ease up, from 6.7 per cent in the previous year to 4.9 per cent in 2023-24.
