The Eastern Cross Taxiways (ECT) are 2.1 kilometers long and will reduce passengers' time on the tarmac during landing and take-off. The ECT connects the northern and southern airfields, reducing taxiing distance by seven kilometers and accommodating wide-body aircraft.
