Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched Amrit Bharat Station Scheme (ABSS) for railway station rejuvenation. The work started on 13 railway stations in Karnataka, part of 508 stations nationwide. Investment: ₹303 crore for 13 stations in Karnataka, ₹25,000 crore for 508 stations overall. ABSS aims to transform and enhance 1,309 stations, improving passenger experience.
