Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the first phase of the international convention and expo centre 'Yashobhoomi' in Dwarka, New Delhi on September 17. Developed at a cost of about Rs 5,400 crore and spread over a project area of more than 8.9 lakh square metres, the Yashobhoomi convention centre houses 15 convention rooms, a grand ballroom and 13 meeting rooms, with a total seating capacity of more than 11,000 delegates. The Yashobhoomi project boasts of a “magnificent convention centre” equipped with the largest LED media façade in the country and with state-of-the-art seating facilities, aimed at ensuring world-class experience to visitors.
