    China launched into space a new remote sensing satellite. The satellite Yaogan-33 04 was blasted into space from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwestern China. The satellite, aboard a Long March rocket, entered its planned orbit. The satellite will be used for scientific experiments, land resource surveys, crop yield estimates, and disaster prevention and relief work.
