The Humayun’s Tomb World Heritage Site Museum, set to open on July 29 in New Delhi, includes a film that captures the extensive travels of Humayun, the second Mughal emperor. This film details his journeys spanning 34,000 km and visits to 122 cities. One of the museum's highlights is a replica of the Sarnath Stupa inscription, marking Humayun’s visit. The museum, designed and built by the Aga Khan Trust for Culture and funded by the Tourism Ministry and the Aga Khan Trust, also features over 500 artefacts from various collections, an immersive gallery with a 270-degree screen, and exhibits that delve into different aspects of Humayun's life, including his interest in calligraphy and his travelling library. Additionally, the museum provides various facilities such as souvenir shops, meeting rooms, a café, and a library.
