The 'One DAE One Subscription' (ODOS) initiative aims to unify the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) and its affiliated units under one comprehensive subscription model for both reading and publishing access to a wide array of research papers and scientific journals. This initiative was inaugurated at Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai, marking a significant step in centralizing and enhancing access to scientific literature within the DAE. By signing consortium agreements with Wiley India Private Limited and Springer Nature Group, ODOS ensures that researchers across DAE can access over 4,000 journals, including fully open access titles. This approach not only streamlines the process of obtaining and disseminating scientific knowledge but also supports the broader goals of fostering innovation, promoting research, and boosting scientific morale within the community. Moreover, ODOS is set to merge with the larger 'One Nation One Subscription' (ONOS), further integrating it into a national framework to expand access to scientific resources across India.
