    If a person is chosen as a member, both of the

    Parliament and of a State Legislature, his membership of either the Parliament or the Legislature will cease as follows:

    Solution

    A person cannot be a member of the Parliament and State legislature at the same time. If the person is so elected, his seat in Parliament become vacant if he fails to resign his seat in the State Legislature within 14 days.
