    The National Council for Teacher Education, under the direction of the Department of School Education and Literacy (DoSEL), Ministry of Education, Government of India, conducted a five-day virtual orientation program on the National Mission for Mentoring (NMM) and the National Professional Standards for Teachers (NPST). The program, held from 10-14 June 2024, was aimed at the capacity building of PM SHRI school teachers from 29 States/UTs/KVS/NVS across the country, covering more than 1 lakh teachers, to effectively implement the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
