    Pentium 4 was a series of single-core central processing units (CPU) for desktop PCs and laptops. The series was designed by Intel and launched in November 2000. Therefore statement 1 is incorrect. The operating system is loaded through a bootstrapping process, more succinctly known as booting. A boot loader is a program whose task is to load a bigger program, such as the operating system. Therefore statement 2 is correct. An Analog computer stores data continuously in the form of physical quantities and perform calculations with the help of measures. They are used in the calculation of physical variables such as voltage, pressure, temperature, speed. Whereas, A Digital computer is the most commonly used type of computer and they are extensively used for solving complex problems in the field of engineering & technology, design, research and data processing. Therefore statement 3 is correct. Microcomputers are also called as personal computers and in general parlance, the microprocessor, also known as the Central Processing Unit (CPU), is the brain of all computers and many household and electronic devices. Therefore statement 4 is incorrect. Hence the correct answer will be option B.
