The Constitution of India is described as quasifederal. It establishes a federal system of government. Some of the features of a federal system of government are as follows – Rigidity of Constitution,Independent judiciary ,Bicameralism, A written Constitution and Supremacy of Constitution. However, the Indian Constitution also contains a large number of unitary or nonfederal features, like - integrated judiciary, appointment of state governor by the Centre, allIndia services, single citizenship, flexibility of Constitution, a strong Centre, single Constitution, emergency provisions, etc. ● Option 1 is correct- Integrated Judiciary- It is a Unitary feature of the Constitution where supreme court is at the top below which there is a high court in state.This single system of courts enforces both central and state laws. ● Option 2 is correct- Single Citizenship means a person is a citizen of India only and not of the respective states.it is one of the Unitary Features. ● Option 3 is incorrect-Supremacy of Constitution-Constitution is the supreme law of the land; and all state organs including parliament, judiciary, states etc. are bound by it.
