    The deadline for the submission of applications for the "Adopt a Heritage 2.0" Program has recently been set as December 31, 2023.   This program invites collaboration with private/public sector companies, trusts, societies, NGOs, etc., leveraging their CSR funding to offer, enhance, and sustain 'amenities' at centrally protected monuments and sites.   Launched on World Tourism Day in September 2017, the initiative is a joint effort of the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Culture, and the Archaeological Survey of India.  The corporate sector is expected to use corporate social responsibility (CSR) funds for the upkeep of the site.
