The University Grants Commission is working in line with the NEP 2020 to support Universities and colleges to transform higher education in India to meet global standards. UGC is also formulating regulations and working as a facilitator to ensure higher education institutions impart quality education and create a skilful and innovative future workforce. In line with this mission, the UGC has redesigned its website to make it more user-friendly, informative, and dynamic. UGC has developed a portal named UTSAH (Undertaking Transformative Strategies and Actions in Higher Education) to motivate, implement, and monitor this progress.
