Arabian or dromedary camels have a single hump like the letter “D”. “Ships of the Desert” - They have long eyelashes in double rows and a third eyelid which acts like a windshield wiper to wash sand or dirt out of their eyes. Their nostrils can be closed to protect them from blowing sand.
