Question

On high temperatures, gas-melt rock content located

below the surface of the Earth is called __________________
A Hot Spring (Hot Waterfall) Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
B Lava Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
C Mica (Asbestos) Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
D Magma Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

    Solution

Magma is melted rock below the ground. It is a molten and semi molten rock mixture found below the surface of the Earth. It is extremely hot between 700 to 1300 Celsius. This heat makes magma a fluid and when this magma comes out from ground in a volcano it is known as lava. A hot spring is also known as hydrothermal spring, or geothermal spring. It is a spring produced by heated groundwater that rises from the Earth's crust. The mica minerals includes several closely related materials having nearly perfect basal cleavage. The most commonly mined types of mica are muscovite (also known as white mica) and phlogopite (green mica).
