The reservation of seats for Members of the Anglo-Indian community in the Lok Sabha was discontinued in 2020. Previously, two seats were nominated by the President of India for members of the Anglo-Indian community, a provision that had been in place since the first Lok Sabha in 1952. This reservation was extended several times before it was ultimately abolished with the 104th Constitutional Amendment in 2020.
