He shifted the Capital from Dhaka to Murshidabad. ● Statement 2 is Incorrect: Murshid Quli Khan, to rationalise the revenue collection abolished the Jagirdari system and replaced it with the revenue farming / Ijara/ malzamini system. This was a contract system by which contracts of the collection of land revenue were granted to ijaradars, i.e. contractors by taking security bonds from them.
