Pratāparudra, also known as Rudradeva II, was the final ruler of the Kakatiya dynasty and the grandson of the illustrious Rudramadevi. His reign saw several invasions and tributary agreements. In 1310, he initially submitted to Alauddin Khilji but stopped making tributes after Alauddin's death. However, in 1318, he was compelled to pay tribute to Mubarak Shah, Alauddin's son. Following the downfall of the Khilji dynasty, he once again ceased tribute payments. The Kakatiya dynasty came to an end in 1323 when Ghiyasuddin Tughlaq's invasion resulted in the annexation of their territories into the Delhi Sultanate.
