Riya Shirish Thatte from Aurangabad won the gold medal in the Women’s 25m Pistol Final at the 67th National Shooting Championship held in New Delhi. She defeated Simranpreet Kaur Brar of Punjab in a shootout after both were tied at 31 hits in eight sets of five-shot deciders. This marks Riya’s first senior national championship win. Olympian Rahi Sarnobat finished third with 25 hits.
