Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System (IRNSS) or known as ‘NavIC’ is India’s own autonomous regional navigation system. It is a constellation of 7 satellites providing accurate real time position and time services. It provides services in India and 1500 km area surrounding it. In IRNSS-2 it plans to further extend it.
