    UK has allowed three-parent baby using Mitochondrial Replacement Therapy (MRT). It will prevent passage of genetic diseases to off springs. In the MRT process, three parents are involved: two biological and one donor parent. Generally if mother carries a faulty mitochondria, it is replaced by a healthy one from a donor parent. Now the egg is fertilized with the partner’s sperm
