India's first glass bridge, inaugurated by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, connects the iconic Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Thiruvalluvar Statue in Kanyakumari. This 77-meter-long and 10-meter-wide bowstring arch bridge was constructed at a cost of ₹37 crore. Designed to withstand marine conditions, the bridge offers visitors a breathtaking view of the sea while facilitating easy access between the monuments. During the inauguration, the Thiruvalluvar statue was also renamed the 'Statue of Wisdom.'
