    Brahmaputra River is called YarlungTsangpo in Tibet, China.  Brahmaputra river originates from Kailash ranges of the Himalayas at an elevation of about 5150 m and flows for about 2900 km through Tibet. It enters India west of Sadiya town in Arunachal Pradesh. Dihing or Burhi Dihing is a large tributary, about 380 kilometres long, of the Brahmaputra River in Upper Assam in northeastern India.
