    ICJ is an organ of the UNO and has a contentious jurisdiction on the matters which are subject to disputes between states. The International Criminal Court (ICC) is an independent judicial body with jurisdiction over persons charged with genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes.  It handles prosecution of individuals. It is not a part of United nations. ITLOS is a multi-governmental establishment formed by the mandate of the 3rd UN Conference on the Law of the Sea. It was created by the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea which was signed at Jamaica on the 10th of December 1982.
