What does the term "res judicata" mean in the context of the Civil Procedure Code?
"Res judicata" is a legal principle that prevents the same matter from being relitigated once it has been finally adjudicated by a competent court. As per S.11 of CPC a matter which is already decided and hit by the doctrine of Res judicata cannot be filed in the court of law.
