Section 97 of Evidence Act Evidence as to application of language to one of two sets of facts, to neither of which the whole correctly applies. –– When the language used applies partly to one set of existing facts, and partly to another set of existing facts, but the whole of it does not apply correctly to either, evidence may be given to show to which of the two it was meant to apply. Illustration A agrees to sell to B “my land at X in the occupation of Y”. A has land at X, but not in the occupation of Y, and he has land in the occupation of Y but it is not at X. Evidence may be given of facts showing which he meant to sell.
Find the Perpendicular distance between two lines
6x + 8y = 18, 12x + 16y =20
Solve: ∫[2x/(x4+1)] dx
Find the co-ordinate of the centroid of a triangle whose vertices are (1,3), (2,1) and (2,5)?
Find the area of the triangle formed by the points A(2, 3), B(-1, -4), and C(5, -2).
Find the equation of the circle passing through the points (1, 2) and (2, -1), and whose center lies on the line x - 2y + 3 = 0.
Find the coordinates of the centroid of the triangle with vertices A(1, 2), B(4, 6), and C(7, 8).
A line passes through the point (4, 3) and is perpendicular to the line 3x + 4y = 12. Find the equation of the new line.
