    A 8 years Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
    B 7 years Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
    C 10 years Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
    D 6 years Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

    Solution

    Let A’s age be x years. B’s age = 3x and C’s age = (6 + x) According to question, => x + 3x + (6 + x) = 46 => 5x = 40 => x = 8 B’s age = 3x = 24 years C’s age = 6 + x = 14 years Difference between the ages of B and C = 24 – 14 = 10 years
