    Let Present age of younger cousin and older cousin be a and b years respectively. ⇒ a + b = 54 ----(1) Also, 11 years ago, ⇒ (b – 11) = 3(a – 11) ⇒ b – 11 = 3a – 33 ⇒ 3a – b = 22 ----(2) Adding equation (1) and (2), we get ⇒ 4a = 76 ⇒ a = 19 By equation (1), we have ⇒ 19 + b = 54 ⇒ b = 35 ∴ Present age of Older cousin is 35 years.
