    Present age of ‘C’ = 0.3 × 40 = 12 years 6 years ago from now, age of ‘C’ = 12 – 4 = 8 years 7 years hence from now, age of ‘B’ = 8 × (7/4) = 14 years Present age of ‘B’ = 14 – 7 = 7 years
