    Let the present ages of A and B be 7x years and 6x years, respectively. Therefore, present age of C = 1.2 × 6 = 7.2x years According to the question, 7x + 6x + 7.2x = 101 20.2x = 101 Or, x = 101/20.2 = 5 Therefore, required ratio = (7x + 12):(6x + 12) = 45:40 = 9:8
