Question
A fruit seller bought 186 bananas at the
rate of ₹72 per dozen. He found that 35 bananas were rotten and could not be sold. He sold the remaining bananas at the rate of ₹8 per piece. What is his percentage gain in the whole transaction? (Correct to two places of decimal)Solution
Ans-8.24
Solution-
Cp of 12 bananas=72 Rs
Now Cp of 1 banana=6
CP of 186 bananas =6×186=1116
Rotten bananas =35
Remaining bananas =186-35=151
SP of 151 Bananas =151×8=1208
Profit =1208-1116=92
Percentage profit = (92/1116) ×100
=2300/279=8.24%
(?)2 + 6.113 = 25.92 – 19.03
(11.75)2 - 49.99% of 120 - ? = (8.23)2
70.008% of 399.98 + ?% of 399.999 = 80.105% of 599.998
?² × 55% of (29 + 32 - 41) = 41.66% of 216 + 9
22.03 × 6.97 + 19.01 – 16.02 = ?
