A 44 yrs Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
B 33 yrs Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
C 26 yrs Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
D 56 yrs Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
E None of these Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

    Solution

ATQ, Let the present age of the mother be x years. So, the present age of the father = x+6 years. Sum of the present age of the three children = 16×3=48 years. Sum of the present age of the whole family = 48+x+(x+6)=24×5. 2x+6=120−48 2x=66 x=33 Therefore, the present age of the mother = 33 years.
