Present age of Chinu = 33 × 2 – (5a + 12) = (54 – 5a) years ATQ; (54 – 5a)/(4a + 12) = 2/3 Or, 162 – 15a = 8a + 24 Or, 23a = 138 Or, a = 6 So, present age of Bheema = 5 × 6 + 12 = 42 years Present age of Chinu = 54 – 5 × 6 = 24 years Desired ratio = 42:24 = 7:4
