    Let age of Chahal and Rayudu be ‘C’ and ‘R’ years, respectively. According to question, (C – 8)/(R – 8) = 5/7 7C – 56 = 5R – 40 7C – 5R = 16……………………(1) And, (C + 16)/(R + 16) = 11/13 13C + 208 = 11R + 176 11R – 13C = 32…………………..(2) Solving equation (1) and (2), we get R = 36 years and C = 28 years Desired Average = (36 + 28)/2 = 32 years
