    Let the length of the train = x meter So according to question: x/9 = (x + 640)/25 25x = 9x + 5760 16x = 5760 x = 360 So the length of the train = 360 m Speed of the train = 360/9 = 40 m/s Time taken by the train to cross a bridge 720 meter long = (360 + 720)/40 = 1080/40 = 27 seconds
