Question

    3x +3y =10 and 3x+y =5

then find the value of 3x-y +3y-x.
A 18 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
B 16 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
C 12 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
D 20 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

    Solution

    Given – 3x+y =5 3x +3y =10 (both side squaring) 32x +32y+2×3x×3y =100 32x +32y+2 ×3x+y =100             (Put the value of 3x+y) 32x +32y+2 ×5 =100 32x +32y =90    … (1) Then now- 3x-y +3y-x =3x/3y +3y/3x               (take LCM) = (32x +32y)/ (3x×3y) =90/5 =18.
