    Let total work be 24 units = LCM of (8 and 12)Efficiency of ‘A’ = 24/8 = 3 units/dayEfficiency of ‘B’ = 24/12 = 2 units/dayTotal work done by ‘A’ in 4 days = 4 × 3 = 12 unitsTime taken by ‘B’ to build rest of the wall = {(24 – 12)/2} = 6 daysTotal time taken = 6 + 4 = 10 days
