    Let the eight numbers be a, b, c, d, e, f, g, h According to the question, (a+b+c+d+e+f+g+h)/8 = 5.95 a + b + c + d + e + f + g + h = 47.6 ……………. (i) (a+b)/2 = 5.4 a + b = 10.8 ……. (ii) (c +d)/2 = 5.86 c + d = 11.72 …… (iii) put the value of eq (ii) and (iii) in (i) e + f + g + h = 47.6 – 10.8 – 11.72 = 25.08 Average = 25.08/4 = 6.27
