B 11:27 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
C 14:23 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
D 7:20 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
E None of the these Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

    Solution

    Let the consecutive odd number be x, x+2, x+4, x+6, x+8 x + x+2 + x+4 + x+6 + x+8 = 120 5x = 120 - 20 5x = 100 x = 20 Average of 5 consecutive odd number = 120/5 = 24 The lowest even number = (2 × 24) + 4 = 52 The even numbers are 52, 54 and 56. The ratio between the lowest odd number and the highest even number = 20 : 56 = 5 : 14
