Total expenditure in first 6 months = 6000 × 6 = Rs.36000 Total expenditure in last 6 month = 9000 × 6 = Rs.54000 Total income of the man in a year = 36000 + 54000 + 15000 = Rs.105000 So average income in a month = 105000/12 = Rs. 8750
