Total expenditure in first 4 months = 4 ร 5000 = Rs.20000 Total expenditure in last 8 month = 8 ร 8000 = Rs.64000 Total income of the man in a year = 20000 + 64000 + 12000 = Rs.96000 So average income in a month = 96000/12 = Rs. 8000
