    Solution

    Let smallest and largest number are ‘x’ and ‘y’, respectively. So, x + y = 124 × 2 = 248 And, y – x = 24 So, x = (248 – 24)/2 = 112 And, y = 112 + 24 = 136 So, third number = 124 × 3 – 248 = 124
